SOME OBSERVATIONS ON THE ASH - ATOMIZE CURVES OF SOME ATOMIC ABSORPTION ORGANOMETALLIC STANDARDS - PARTI : CONSTRUCTION OF CURVES

ABSTRACT

The ash-atomize curves of seven Organometallic metal cyclohexanebuty rates - atomic absorption standards usually used for determination of Cu, Pb, Al, Ni, Cd, Ba and Mg have been constructed. The optimum ashing and atomization temperatures and times of each standard as well as Tapp have been evaluated under Optimized Conditions (Table3). Although the ligend of the seven Standards is the same, nevertheless the different Curves showed marked dissimilarity in behaviour of species and free atoms which should reflect positively on the calibration graph of the corresponding metal .Each ash - atomize curve exhibits integrated absorbance versus charring temperature and atomization temperature of the corresponding standard (Table 3).
