MOLAR EXTINCTION COEFFICIENTS AND SATURATION INTENSITIES OF NICKEL DYES MIXED WITH DIFFERENT SOLVENTS

ABSTRACT:

Absorption spectra of a prepered nickel dye (BDN-1) mixed with chloroform. Benzen. Dichloroethane have been recorded in the range (99­1200 nm ) al room temperature transmittance of these solution have been measured at 1060 nm.

The molar extinction coefficients along with the saturation intensities have been calculated and found to be of the order of magnitude to the available result in the open literature.
