FABRACATION OF HIGH TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTING ANTENA

A ring YBa2Cu3 O6.5+δ high temperature superconducting antenna has been fabricated from solid state reactions. The antenna received a magnetic field signal in the 100 MHz range with a narrow band width of 8 MHz . The received signal increased drastically when the samples cooled to liquid nitrogen temperature while the band width becomes narrower at the low temperature, the above results are compared to that at room temperature for the same samples.
