A Wide variations in the mineralogical and geochemical characteristics have been found between the sulphureous zones and the sulphate beds. The R-mode factor analysis revealed five interpretable factors. Four factors represented dolomitization deposition of celestite, the transformation of laminated, mosaic and compact gypsum to sulphur and the transformation of gypsum nodules and veins in the carbonate and clayey rocks to sulphur.
