IDENTIFICATION OF DUST COMPOSITION TOWARD THE GALACTIC CENTER SOURCE GC-IRS7

Several models have been presented for identification of the composition of interstellar dust during more than half a century. We discuss here the composition of dust along the sight toward the source GC-IRS 7 at the (9.7)micron. We have analyzed dust absorption feature arising in the diffuse interstellar medium in this region in terms of inorganic an biological materials. The transmittance values that have been obtained from IR spectra of the samples were carried forward to optical depth values and transformed to flux density by using Plank’s function. This flux density were compared with the flux density of IRS 7, it has been found that the best agreement between the flux density of IRS 7 and a mixture contains of;
(Diatom Silica, E.coli Bacteria, Murchison Meteorite and Silicon Dioxide).
This means that there is a thump print of biological material on the composition of dust grains of GC -IRS7 .
