ABSTRACT

In this work the effect of the concentration of anthracene solution on its relative flourescence quantum efficiency is studied .It is noticed that the relative flourescence quantum efficiency increases as the concetration increases, for both the exposed and non exposed solution to light.

Tow empirical formulae that explain the relation between the concentration and the efficiency.

Φ= 0.0936 exp (8.364 C)   non exposed solution to light

Φ=0.1411 exp (7.011C)   exposed solution to light
